New Administrative Coordinator for IRTG 2843

Marie Fuchs started her position as Administrative Coordinator for IRTG 2843 at Justus Liebig University Giessen in January 2026. She succeeds Paul Knight, who will be leaving IRTG 2843 in the coming weeks to take up a new position at Wageningen University & Research. We thank Paul warmly for his valuable work and wish him all the best for his future in Wageningen.

Marie brings extensive experience in project coordination. In her most recent position, she served as Lead Project Coordinator for the internationally oriented NIDIT project (Network for Impactful Digital International Teaching Skills, 2021-2025), focused on developing digital and international competencies for university lecturers. From 2011 to 2014, she was a PhD student at JLU's Department of Plant Breeding and is therefore well familiar with the institute's structures and processes.
