Babette Knoblauch wins award at IAPB international congress
In July 2026, IRTG PhD student Babette Knoblauch, accompanied by colleagues Dr. Sruthy Augustine and Dr. Amitha Paul, attended the 2026 IAPB International Congress in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Faba Bean Excursion to ILS5 in Dubrovnik
Right after the Q-Retreat, everybody working on faba bean had to repack their things and make their way to Dubrovnik, Croatia, for the 5th International Legume Society Conference (ILS5). With 6 flash talks and 10 posters in total, Giessen came well prepared to show what we are working on. It's time for another Q-Retreat - Welcome to Gie… Quiessen ?!
Between the 4th International Wheat Congress and the 5th International Legume Society Conference, the Australians stopped in Gießen and we all attended the Q-Retreat together.
