JLU visits UQ, September 2023

A delegation of ACGG participants from JLU visited UQ in September 2023 for joint workshops and meetings with our UQ colleagues. This was also our first opportunity to meet the new cohort of ACGG-aligned students who recently began their PhDs at The University of Queensland. Highlights for the visiting JLU group included a group dinner with the entire team of ACGG participants from UQ (image), a visit to the field phenoptyping facilities at UQ's Gatton campus, a lively panel discussion with journal editors in the UQ writing workshop, along with a Data Management workshop for UQ students led by Agnieszka Golicz and Iulian Gabur (JLU) together with Emma Mace and David Jordan (UQ). After an enjoyable and successful week at UQ, we're already looking forward to the next events, hopefully involving even more students from the participating institutions in Germany and Australia!
